A dog owner from Hilliard, Ohio had an ingenious idea to recreate a whack-a-mole board for his pets. But instead of toy moles, this exciting game involved tasty treats (which were hotdogs!) that made one of the dogs very engaged. The owner captured on video the comical moment when one canine went barking mad after it failed to bite the hotdog.
In the footage, the red-coated Shiba Inu named Fizzgig seemed confused at first. He only looked at the hotdog as his owner pushed it up through the holes in the board. But as the game progressed, the delectable smell of the tasty treat became irresistible.
The determined pooch began to snap his teeth on the hotdog as fast as he could. However, the dog owner proved to be very quick as he poked the food out and drew it back instantly. Fizzgig kept failing to bite the tasty treat every single time, which earned a laugh from his owner.
A cream-coated Shiba Inu and a silver Weimaraner watched the scene in front of them. Both licked their lips whenever the hotdog appeared from the holes. The game lasted for about two minutes before the hot-tempered canine became annoyed. The dog owner told ViralHog that Fizzgig was very vocal about his frustrations.
The canine started barking at everyone, especially at the Weimaraner named Titan, who seemed confused about why the Shiba was yelling at him. Fizzgig seemed to blame the unfortunate dog for every loss he suffered. Eventually, the angry dog got what he wanted after his human parent caved in.
The dog owner ensured that after Fizzgig got upset, they calmed him down and gave all of them some hotdogs. The comical video amused thousands of internet users. One viewer from YouTube wrote that Fizzgig was telling the other dogs that he has the situation in hand. Another commended the owner for the creative whack-a-mole set-up.
