Sarah Coffman is the founder of a rescue organization that helps out animals in need. One of the dogs that they helped was Bowie.
One of the rescue organization’s adaptors was taking out her trash one night when she found a wire kennel. Inside was a very skinny dog. It was Bowie. The dog looked highly neglected, which was heart-breaking.
It was unfortunate that this dog was thrown in the trash, and it broke Sarah’s heart. She was determined to do everything she can to find him a good home. Sarah first brought Bowie to his first foster parents, Lee and Darcy, so he can gain weight. The couple successfully helped Bowie gain those pounds.
Bowie was with the couple for two months before it was time for him to move on to another foster family. At first, Sarah was a little hesitant to bring him to his new home. She was not sure if it was a good match for him. When they got there, Sarah saw this big sign welcoming Bowie.
Right then, she knew that it was a good place for him to be fostered. Bowie’s new parents, Connie and Matt, were very happy to have Bowie. They learned about his past and wanted to help out.
After two days of being with Bowie, Connie asked Matt if they could keep him. Connie thought that Matt would refuse. He was actually waiting for Connie to ask him about adoption. He was even surprised that it took Connie two days to ask him.
Now, Bowie is happily living his life with his new family. He loves them, and he loves their vast yard too! He runs around and plays there all the time. Bowie’s new home is a dream home for any dog, and Sarah is happy that Bowie is the dog who gets to live there.
