Dogs always had a special spot in every home. Laura loved having her Great Dane, Fenway, to protect her, but she worried how her beloved pet might react to a new member of the household.
Best of friends
Fenway was adopted from the local shelter when he was around eight weeks old. Laura thought that the dog was adorable and wanted to give him a life he deserved.
The Great Dane was very spoiled and always loved cuddling up to Laura. When Laura got pregnant, it was evident that the dog noticed that something was different about her.
After a few months, baby Landon was brought into the world, and Fenway was confused. Fenway was gentle with the baby, and at the same time, he looked very intrigued.
As time flew by, Fenway got more attached to the baby and loved spending time with him. The two of them became best friends who had adventures every single day.
Two peas in a pod
Whenever Landon became too crazy, Fenway knew what to do. The dog loved keeping guard of his favorite little boy and made sure he was alright.
Every day, Laura would say the word “walk,” and the two best friends instantly ran to the front door. Landon knew where Fenway’s leash was and got him ready for their favorite past time.
Meal time was another bonding moment for the dog and the baby. Whatever Landon doesn’t eat, Fenway made sure to clean up.
Laura loved her two boys and always made sure that both of them were safe and having fun. Fenway and Landon were inseparable, and Laura knew it was going to be like that for a very long time.
Having such an understanding dog like Fenway made the process of raising Landon so much easier for Laura. She never would’ve guessed that the hundred- eighty-pound dog would end up being her son’s favorite buddy.
